The Virginia Gentlemen and The Virginia Sil'hooettes got to film the University of Virginia's 2014 Holiday video!
The Gentlemen were lucky enough to perform at the White House for the 2014 Holiday season.
Before our trip to Southeast Asia, we gathered on the steps of Old Cabell Hall for a group picture. Pictured are the twelve gentlemen who traveled deep into the heart of Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
VGs at Obama's Inauguration
We were graciously invited to perform at the second inauguration of Barack Obama in January 2013. Here, the Virginia Gentlemen pose in the White House for the second time in less than a month. Our greatest thanks to President Obama and the White House staff.
The Lighting of the Lawn
The Lighting of the Lawn is one of UVA's most beautiful traditions, and also one of the biggest a cappella concerts of the year. Pictured on the Rotunda Steps in December 2012, the VGs face a crowd of UVA students numbering in the thousands!
Christmas at the White House, 2012
In December 2012, the VGs returned to the White House Christmas Celebration, this time performing for visitors to the White House for the Holiday Tour. Our sincerest thanks to the White House staff who facilitated our return this past year!
Performing at Monticello
The VGs paid a visit to Jefferson's home in Fall of 2012, for a serenading performance from the balcony! It was very meaningful for us to be able to perform in Thomas Jefferson's home, and we give thanks to the event organizers that made this possible.
The VGs with George W. Bush
Several years ago the VGs also had the pleasure of performing for George W. Bush at the White House. The performance commemorated the 265th birthday of Thomas Jefferson, and the VGs were immensely honored to pose for a picture with President Bush.
